I had a mixed experience at Casa del Rio. The rooms were simple with no extra furniture, and unfortunately, the noise from the courtyard toilet being flushed loudly at 5 am was disturbing. On the positive side, the bathroom and shower were good.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, some offering a lovely view of the Papaloapan River, but they felt a bit bare with minimal furniture. The bathroom and shower were excellent, though I wished for more lighting. The service was fantastic, with helpful staff who made our stay enjoyable. The location, right on the river in Tlacotalpan, was scenic and convenient for the event we attended. Dining was simple and overpriced, but the terrace setting added charm to our meals. However, the high prices were a downside for the overall value.
